The Tactical Assault Kit is the official Department of Defense designation for the Team Awareness Kit (TAK) application. It serves as a comprehensive tool for mission planning, geospatial analysis, Full Motion Video (FMV) viewing, and system administration. The geospatial engine and communication components of the Tactical Assault Kit adhere to both Department of Defense (DoD) and industry standards.
